Hence, Industry-Based Learning. Regardless of CGPA or varsity reputation, just don't get into lesser known institutions. If you remembered, there were issues with shoddy colleges in Melbourne this year.

Swinburne is well known (you can't beat five campuses in a city). In fact, there were some scientific breakthrough from our Aussie counterparts this year, including Terabyte optical disc using 3D tech. Boeing have also collaborated with Swinburne to set up R&D on aerospace tech. So don't worry too much about not getting job. Worry instead on keeping it.

I won't worry too much about competing with Ivy League graduates in local soil. Competition is more of a problem if you're going overseas where people may not even know your varsity's name.

yeah, true. but i still think the swinburne here is different with the swinburne in melbourne. the culture i think and the way they learn things, but i don't know, just an opinion, i mean we can't rili say the quality is the same. nevertheless, practical skills are important. and the attitude as well. that's what we all know too. haha.
